Tranex Telecommunications Ltd has supported Cynthia Spencer again this year with their Cycle4Cynthia event, this is a great cause which helps to fund specialist physical, psychological, social and spiritual care to those with life-limiting illnesses. Their focus is on quality of life and respecting the uniqueness of each person.
First of all, I would like to say a massive thank you for the loan of the radios and earpieces etc. They really make a massive difference to how we communicate on our event site and keep our event running efficiently without us relying on running around or mobile phones with dodgy signals! We are very grateful for the support.
We had 600 cyclists take part in this year’s event which was a great number to see for our 20th year. We won’t know the final total raised for a few weeks yet as some people are still fundraising, but we will keep you updated on this.
These events are essential to ensure that patient care can continue and families can be supported. In addition, giving us the opportunity to develop new projects such as our woodland room which will open later this year. A multifunctional space to allow patients with life-limiting conditions to be supported in the best way possible.
